Hello guys!
So on the weekend, my mum and I set up a page so I can donate my hair to charity. I would LOVE if you guys could maybe donate something. Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thanks guys! 💖😉💇🏼♀️ https://hairwithheart.everydayhero.com/au/lou-s-hair-for-charity Every dollar you give will help a child who needs it! Love, Lou 📚

Hey fellow book lovers!
So here is my art for Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, as promised. I love the character's design, and this is how I envision her as a character, so no telling me off for getting her appearance wrong! 💖 Lou 📚🖌 Hello friends!
I am SO sorry for not posting yesterday, I was feeling very down, because of something that happened but it’s all fine now. Later this afternoon, I will post my first piece of art, so yeah! Enjoy the Love, Simon fanart… 💖😂📚 Love, Lou 💖 P.S. Panic! Has just released a new single. Go listen to High Hopes right now: 👇🏻 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKserM-i0_A Hello, tiny computer people!
I am terrible at writing poems, but I thought that because I am doing poems in class, I might write one. Sorry for the terrible-ness. A glimpse of the moon It catches your eye Making me shudder Skipping a heartbeat The shimmer of the fireworks And their beautiful colours Don’t need an explanation Just need to be with you Your fingers clutch mine And it’s all I’ve ever needed You are too perfect Can I ever get enough? Trees dance Hearts beat Fireworks boom But nothing means nothing If you’re not by my side Your perfect is enough for me I don’t need big houses I don’t need money I don’t need clothes It’s you I want And it’s you I need Today I have a game: What book am I talking about? 🏹🔥👗🏃♀️🏆 Answers revealed in the next post! Like I said terrible. But it means something to me, so I guess that’s enough, right? 💕🙃 Try and figure it out… Lou! At the writing desk 📚✍️ 😂 PS, yes I do adore P!ATD… My fave band ever! 😉😈🤓 Hello again! So, I think I will review the prequel to one of my favourite books: The Maze Runner: Fever Code. It’s an anticipated prequel to the much-loved novel, The Maze Runner. Fever Code was released in April 2017, and the fans of the Maze Runner series (a.k.a. me) went crazy. The series, which has had over 65 million readers. I got the book out from my school library, just after finishing Maze Runner: Death Cure, which is the third book in the Trilogy. Over the holiday break, my family and I went on a holiday to Jurien Bay and I got the chance to read a lot. I chose to bring Fever Code and I finished the book in the 3 days we were there. It really follows the path of the last four books, and you get a glimpse of your favourite characters and their pasts. It gets very deep and sad, especially If you have read the previous books and got to know the characters. My favourite character, Newt, who is the PERFECT character crush by the way, has such a sad past and it really makes you feel sympathetic. The plot line was carefully planned out, and the author clearly knew what he wanted to write before he wrote it. It will leave you with your jaw dropped and you won’t be able to put it down. The writing is incredibly clever and easy to read, and it’s a great read, even if you haven’t read the first ones. Even though I do recommend reading the other books first, the book will still make sense. The book still has it’s flaws, and it is a bit confusing at the start, and throughout the book, I kind of got a bit bored. Towards the end, you really start to love it again. It is an intriguing book and I recommend it to someone who loves the Hunger Games or Divergent. I rate it…
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars! You can buy the book at Dymocks for $18.99, or on the Book Depository for $14.77. Thanks for reading, and sorry that I haven’t posted over the weekend. I am pretty sure that I wasn’t the only one watching the royal wedding, right? 😉 More stuff is on the way! (Lots of art, guys!) Lou 📚😍 Hey guys!
So, I think today I will write a story, just so everyone gets a glimpse into how I write. So, here is chapter one of a brand-new story: The Boy and his Hill The day the boy’s world came crashing down was coincidentally the same day the tsunami rippled through the city. His memories were few, but there were a few minutes of the chaos that were crystal clear in his head. His parents were strolling along the grounds of the park, holding his hands and throwing him up in the air. His tiny giggle filled the air and made everyone around him smile. When the boy’s laugh was heard, it was like nothing ever mattered. Like all evil in the world disappeared. Everything was okay. All of a sudden, the boy’s joyful shrieks turned into bloodcurdling screams. The ground shudders and all of a sudden yelling and crying fills the air. The boy sees his parents faces of pure fear and he tries to pulls their frozen bodies towards the hill. His hill. The hill his parents walked up together, the one that they pushed him on the swing on. The water flooded to them, knocking down buildings, taking the innocent pedestrians by surprise and killing them, almost instantly. “Mama! Daddy! Come on! The water will wash you away!” screamed the little boy desperately. His small, clammy hands grabbed his parents. The shock was frozen in their eyes. The boy’s heart fluttered and he realised that his parents weren’t coming. They were stuck. He had to save himself. The monumental wave inched closer, taking more and more people as it came, and the boy knew it was too late for his parents. He ran up the hill as fast as his little legs would let him. When he reached the top, he heard a scream and he turned around. His mother grabbed the hill and tried to get up on the hill. The look of pure panic in her eyes was enough to make a moment that he would never forget. “Sammie!” begged the woman. “Run! You have to run!” That was the last that Sammie heard of his mother. The tsunami swept up the bodies of the deceased and let them go again. Sammie wept on the hill and thought of the happy memories he had with his parents. He knew he could never go back. The whirr of a helicopter startled him. He looked up to see a man take his hand and pull him gently towards the ladder. Sammie didn’t argue, instead he silently let the man pull him up and give him a blanket. The rest of the journey was a quiet ride. Sammie accepted his fate, and awaited his future. Hey everyone! So, I have now got a nice little group of followers from school on my blog, and I thought maybe I could review a book, so I thought, “What great book have I read that I can review?” and then my mind just clicked. Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda, that’s what I can review! SPOILER ALERT! This article may contain spoilers for the book and film. Don't continue to read if you don't want to hear spoilers! So, for my birthday recently, I went to go see Love, Simon with my two besties and I am pretty sure we all thought it was amazing. The lines were so clever, the actors were great and in general, we all loved it. About a week later, I got a copy of the book, which is what the film is based on, from my parents as a birthday gift. When I first began to read it, I knew that it would be a great one. Becky Abertalli’s writing skill was very clever, and despite the fact that there was quite a bit of swearing, I loved the way she wrote each paragraph. It is just one of those books that you can’t put down, especially when Simon is beginning to realise who Blue really is. When Blue is revealed at the end, I had a feeling that it was Bram, but it was still a surprise. I could really relate to a lot of the characters in the book, especially Leah, because she really portrayed the moody, self-conscious best friend, and I can really relate to that. 😂 It’s so good to finally have such a good queer character like Simon in the writing industry, and it’s great that the film industry is embracing this too. The film and book are both equally emotional, so I suggest bringing a box of tissues. When we saw it at the cinemas, my friends were both laughing at me (I cried three times…) because I am so damn emotional… Anyway, I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a hilarious, emotional romance story. It’s an amazing book with a great purpose. I rate it… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars! Love, Blou. 🏳️🌈💖 Get my reference? No? Ok… Feel free to leave any opinions on the book or on my writing in the comments below! 📚 Ok, wow. The last few days have been a bit crazy. I have started a blog, and I have had tests EVERYDAY. But I guess that's for another blog, amirite? I am so excited to announce this blog and I know that it will probably be dominated by friends and family but that's OK, because that is all I need. This is just an introduction and I won't post an actual review for another day or so, but I am really happy that this will be a fun project to keep me out of my own head and to think of when I need it. I am so proud to announce this blog... OFFICIALLY OPEN! Yay! 🎉😃 Till next time, Lou 📚 |
